Today, IGN First officially announces that the game 2K hinted at is in fact Firaxis Games’ XCOM 2, a full sequel to 2012’s critically acclaimed XCOM: Enemy Unknown and a continuation of the now 20-year-old legendary turn-based tactical squad combat series, which will be available exclusively on PC this November. On it, a supposedly utopian near-future government called the Advent Administration offered a better life for citizens through genetic enhancement, while hackers subversively replaced text and images revealing that Advent isn’t as benevolent as it seems. That's more than I can say for most sites where people on the spectrum are the internet's victim of choice.Last week, 2K teased us with a cryptic website:. Which is exactly what I want in a gaming pad.Īlso, I take that as a sign that this is a relatively good community that someone here can admit to being autistic without hurting their reputation or invoking bullying. But I do think that it feels quite a bit like an XBOX 360 wireless controller, except with a better d-pad. Though that may just be my pipe dream of wanting Nintendo games on the PC coming out. Particularly since I'm fond of the D-Pad. I like it better than my XBOX 360 and XBOX One controllers. Most of the time recently, I have been using a Mayflash adapter to play my Wii U Pro Controller on PC. In fact, for some games, I strongly prefer an arcade stick. But for the vast majority of games, I play with a gamepad only. I use it for games like Terraria where the use of a mouse is important and a trackpad can be right by a keyboard on low end laptops that can run the game. The keyboard and mouse default choice is not necessarily the best one for most games. I like the platform, and I like having choices. Having so many keys to learn and keep up with is just stressful.ĭespite that, I consider myself a PC gamer. Also, there are just too many buttons on a keyboard, my brain shorts out trying to attempt to use all the keys on a keyboard for some kind of function in gaming. It's even worse when I have to keep up with twitch gameplay presses. The keyboard craps my hands badly enough from typing words for an extended duration. I have never once enjoyed gaming on a keyboard and mouse.
